Contact and visits

A one-day visit to Mãe-da-Lua Reserve could be interesting for tourists who want an introduction to the Caatinga and its flora and fauna. Accomodation in the reserve is very basic (hamocks on the veranda) and for 2-3 persons only. No air conditioner, no television. Visitors must be in good physical shape, because hiking in the hills of the reserve is demanding. We speak English, German and some French.

At present, visits are not possible because of the poor condition of our trails. We are not certain whether the problem will be solved this year (2019).
